April 13, 2008 Tucson, AZ	Angel Charities for Children Fundraiser Little Angel Fashion Show starts at 11 a.m. at Loew's Ventana Resort, followed by a book signing. Angel Charities for Children is making a difference in the lives of Tucson's children. Please support their good work.
April 19, 2008 Tucson, AZ	Pima Community College East (8181 E. Irvington Road) Community Room L-101 I'll be giving a guest lecture on marketing children's books at 10:30 a.m. to Marge Pellegrino's "Writing for Children" class, and signing my books afterwards. Extremely helpful handouts! Be a smart writer, as well as a good one.
April 25-26, 2008 Flagstaff, AZ	Northern Arizona Book Festival I'll be one of the featured authors, presenting on Friday, then reading and signing my books on Saturday.
May 4-10, 2008 Abiquiu, NM	Kindling Words WEST I'll be attending a retreat for writers and illustrators at Georgia O'Keefe's Ghost Ranch.
May 17, 2008 Scottsdale, AZ	Welcome to Our House Presented by the Arizona chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, featuring Regina Griffin (Egmont USA Executive Editor), Kat Kopit (Roaring Brook Press Associate Editor), Alexandra Penfold (Simon & Schuster Paula Wiseman Books Associate Editor), Laurent Linn (Simon & Schuster Art Director), and Jaime Weiss Chilton (Andrea Brown Literary Agency Associate Agent).
May 29-June 1, 2008 Tucson, AZ	Pima Writers' Workshop at Pima Community College I'll be on the conference faculty, presenting a workshop, reading, conducting a writing exercise, and signing my books
