Children's Museum Tucson Literacy Event

I'll be presenting from 1:00-1:30 pm, and autographing books starting at noon, and again until 2:00 p.m. Books will be sold to benefit the museum. This event runs all weekend, so bring the kids and have fun!

Story Town
This festival is fun for the whole family, with live action story telling of favorite picture books, entertainment, and arts and crafts. Presented by the Pima County Public Library in partnership with MAKE WAY FOR BOOKS. The event takes place at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library on the Jacome Plaza. Last year, I was Mayor Amelia Bedelia. Wonder what I'll be this year?

Cup O' Karma logoStorytime and book signing. Not just a java joint, Cup O' Karma is a Community Cafe for a Cause, a project of the National Advocacy & Training Network (NATN). The cafe provides job-training opportunities for women participating in their SEEDS programs. NATN is a nonprofit agency committed to addressing the health, safety, economic and social justice issues related to domestic violence, sexual assault, and substance abuse through education, public awareness, and direct services.
